Why are the vote totals shown on the home page during the semi-final round?
Like a scoreboard at a game the totals let candidates know how they’re doing. The totals will be taken down at 11:59pm on April 30th. Yes, anyone looking at the page at that time will know who won. However, the final voting, for the one winner, will only show the total number of votes and not individual voting totals for candidates.
