Why are the SF424 (R&R) Application Forms for electronic submission changing?
The restructuring and shortening of application forms (for both paper AND electronic submission) is the third phase of the Enhancing Peer Review initiative that began in January, 2009. The new instructions and restructured and shortened forms are intended to help NIH ensure a more efficient and transparent review process. For more information on the transition to new application forms see Guide Notice NOT-OD-09-149.
