Proceeds to Benefit Easter Seals April 8, 2009 HIDALGO, TEXAS – The NBA D-League Rio Grande Valley Vipers and 2240 announced today that they will be holding a silent auction of the Vipers’ game-worn road jerseys from the time the doors to Dodge Arena open at 6:00 until the end of the third quarter during Saturday’s 7:00 p.m. Fan Appreciation Night game against the Austin Toros. All proceeds will benefit Easter Seals. Easter Seals provides exceptional services, education, outreach and advocacy so that people living with autism and other disabilities can live, learn, work and play in our communities. The winners will be announced during the fourth quarter. “Easter Seals has a goal of raising $30,000 by Sunday, and this is a great way for the Vipers and 2240 to help them achieve that mark while also giving the fans a chance to have their own game-worn Vipers jerseys,” Vipers President and General Manager Brian Michael Cooper said.
