Why are the Rhythm on the River shows free, and the Blues Bash a paid event?

0

The Pomeroy Blues & Jazz Society is a non-profit organization. All the funds we raise are through private, corporate, and personal donations. The Blues Bash is actually a fundraiser. Charging a small entrance fee at the Blues Bash guarantees the continuation of the Rhythm on the River and Blues Bash performances. Our goal is to expand the Rhythm on the River music series and continue to improve the downtown area of beautiful Pomeroy.
