Why are the restroom facilities at the park sites not open?
A.The restroom facilities are a seasonal amenity made available during peak season only. Due to the lack of use during the cold season, heating these buildings would be costly and unjustified. Since there is no heat available in the facilities, the water lines are subject to freezing. Therefore the restrooms are winterized and closed on or around October 15th of each year and reopened on April 15th. The restrooms are posted with this information and plans should be made accordingly. Q.
