Why are the reconciled transactions imported marked as cleared “c” instead of as reconciled “R”?

In Quicken if the beginning balance is correct, and transactions are marked as cleared correctly, then when the “reconcile” screen is open, the transactions will appear with the “yellow checkmark” already on them and ready to complete the reconcile operation. If you prefer that the transactions that are imported marked with the “c” to be marked with a “R” (for reconciled) instead; then the Quicken “search and replace” edit tool can be used to change them.
