Why are the prize packages for the Sponsored Amateur class of the Main Competition more valuable than the Amateur class?
A. Members who compete in the Sponsored Amateur class generally receive more expensive prize packages because they are competing against more experienced athletes. Therefore, the Sponsored Amateur class is more difficult. Currently, the prize packages are allocated 60% to the Sponsored Amateurs class and 40% to the Amateurs class. Furthermore, 30/20/10 ratio for Sponsored Ams and 20/15/5 for Amateurs gold, silver, and bronze winners respectively.
