Why are the pictures backwards on the Seven Turns album?
How come the pictures of Dickey, Warren and Allen are printed backwards on the Seven Turns cover? They appear to be lefties but they are not? … No one in the ABB’s mgmt. or art dept. at the time noticed that the negative of the picture was flopped. When the mistake was finally noticed, the cover was reprinted. So, both left-handed and right-handed copies exist. This is true of vinyl, cds, and tape. The left-handed prints are something of a collector’s item that the ABB is interested in. You might also be interested in knowing that one of the original renderings of Seven Turns cover art featured seven birds in flight. It seems the artist misunderstood the title and drew “Seven Terns”. I -swear- this is true!
