Why are the people of Finland so boring?
First off I will say that it’s not smart to make sweeping generalisations about a whole nation based on personal experience….. Indeed my experience is different from yours. When I was at Uni we had many Finnish students (exchange program) and I can understand what you mean to a degree as at face value many of them were cool & calm, but this was on the exterior – almost like being wary around other nationalities, but this changed after getting to know many over time, and the friends I made were (still very calm) friendly and amusing – they have a very sharp sense of humor. Conversly I also noticed that when alcohol was involved it was the opposite and many quiet souls became the life and soul of the party! I guess it’s down to personal perception…. but to call a whole nation boring is a bit harsh……….
