Why are the “Man made global warming” people so quiet when we are freezing in the winter?
Regardless of whether the phenomenon of global warming is correct, manmade or not, it says virtually NOTHING about the temperature on any given day. Summers will still be hot, winters will still be cold. Over the course of a year or two, the amount of global warming we experience is almost nothing, certainly swamped out by normal fluctuations which are orders of magnitude larger than the fractions of a degree due to global warming for a given year. When people talk about global warming, they are talking about small increases in AVERAGE global temperatures, that accrue over decades or longer. While these changes may have significant effects for humans around the world, the consequences for this winter’s coolness or next summer’s heat are zero.
