This is an issue with Acrobat Reader 3, demonstrated when handling some font glyphs. We use the Microsoft PostScript driver which produces the glyph names and the one that happens to be the problem is g46. This causes Reader 3 to not display the character although Readers 4 and 5 are OK. We get a different result depending whether Windows NT or Windows 98 is used (different Microsoft PostScript drivers). In one it will miss ‘K’ and in the other, ‘c’. Upgrade Acrobat Reader to the latest version.
