Why are the initial application fee and the transfer fee for a Manufacturer’s Limited Liquor Sales Licence lower than those for a standard liquor sales licence?
The lower fees reflect the fact that, while certain licensing processes are still required for initial applications and transfers, the major components of due diligence and licensing work for a Manufacturer’s Limited Liquor Sales Licence will be undertaken in relation to the corresponding Manufacturer’s Licence, which has its own fee attached. The lower fees also recognize the various restrictions placed on a Manufacturer’s Limited Liquor Sales Licence.
