Why are the in-state rates and the out-of-state rates different?

0

Intrastate and Intralata rates are determined by the individual states and their Public Service Commission, or their Public Utilities Commission. It is normal for each state to have a different Interstate rate than an Intrastate or Intralata rate. Some states like California and Illinois have very low rates while others like Arizona and Maine have historically had very high rates. Our unique Power Dial program helps customers with high in-state rates, use a special dial around code to lower those in-state and high International rates.
