Why are the ice cubes small (less than 1/2″ thick)?

Ice may be slowly melting on the ice bin, affecting the size of the ice cubes. This is normal operation. When the ice bin needs to be replenished, cubes will return to regular size. There may not be enough water in the reservoir. Make sure the reservoir drain plug is installed properly. Check the water line to make sure there are no restrictions or kinks. Check all filters to make sure they are not restricted or plugged. The room temperature may be too warm. Move the ice machine to an area where temperature is below 80 degrees F. Refer to your Owner’s Guide for other possible causes and follow instructions given.
