Why are the great pyramids of egypt important to the egyptian culture?
The great pyramids of Egypt remind everyone of Egypt’s great accomplishments centuries ago. It is something that represents their land & their people –it’s their history. Egypt had engineers, mathematicians, embalmers, builders, painters, sculpturers, jewelry makers, writers (scribes) that recorded their lives, boat builders, warriors both on land & the sea while other countries were still in the stone age. (Not literally – but figuratively). Before the time of Christ (BC) the pyramids were one of the seven wonders of the ancient world & they still are today.
