Why are the DVDs only available in PAL format?

Each DVD will be produced in the format for the country in which it was filmed. As the first leg of the tour is in Europe, the first discs will be offered in PAL. North American concerts will be offered in NTSC. Keep in mind that these discs will not be “region coded”…and that computers with playback software installed for PAL and/or NTSC video will be able to view all concerts using the computer as a transport.
