Why are the dry and wet sides uncoupling?
My VorTech seems to be running fine on my tank when I set it up, but a day or so later I see that the motor has fallen off the tank and the wet side has sunk to the bottom of my tank. Is there something wrong with my pump, or is there something I can do to fix this problem? A: There are a few possible situations that can cause your VorTech to intermittently lose its magnetically coupled connection which would cause the motor to fall off your tank. These causes can be attributed to extended use without routine maintenance or a possible manufacturing problem.
