Why are the direct links to Ebsco Host (Academic Search Elite and Business Source Elite) sometimes incorrect in the Library Catalogue?
A. EbscoHost Academic Search Elite and Business Source Elite are aggregated services and so every month there are a large number of title changes and changes to holdings information (volumes and issue details). It is difficult to get reliable information from Ebsco and so sometimes titles are withdrawn without notice. We are working with Ebsco to try to find a satisfactory solution in the long term. In the meantime, please do let us know if you find “dead” links. Report them to the Library Helpdesk.
