Why are the costs based on per square yard not linear yard?

• Most of our fabrics are 58 inches wide and some people do not need a full 58 inch wide material so we didn’t think they should have to pay for that printed area if in the end it will be wasted. We have it set up in our checkout page where you can enter your exact dimensions that you want printed and we will print only the area you require. This saves you money and also saves fabric and ink from being wasted.
