Why are the colors of the sky during sunrise, sunset and noon different?

Due to the position of the sun and mist, clouds, and chemicals in the sky/atmosphere…….it reflects through it differently and makes different colors, kind of like a prism…. http://www.sewanee.

The sky is blue because of the unique refraction patterns of the light that the sun makes, although once it nears the earth (during sunrise or sunset), it is unable to make these patterns, and the sky turns an amber-red color.
