Why are teenagers influenced by the media?

0

To an extent everyone is, but in particular women, because after reading magazines with the skinny celebrities, watching television, they want to be like their role models, and to do this they allow themselves to be influenced by airbrushed pictures in magazines and in the media. There are more magazines on offer to women, and quite possibly more information is published for women because publishers realise that it will be the women who are most interested in their image.

It’s not just teenagers who are influenced by the media, we all find ourselves in one target group or another. You are not in the teen target group, you are not influenced by what is presented to them because you can not relate.

I didn’t realize that only teenagers pay attention to the media, and adults, children, and seniors were exceptions. I mean, because only teenagers can be swayed like that without a mind of their own. Noooo, adults are just too good for that.
