Why are teacher-student or even employer-employee love-relationships frowned upon?
Im not even going to dignify the teacher-student portion of your question with ANY response. Thats just common sense. The employer-employee thing is because people are incapable of seperating work life from personal life. Favoratism will be showed…or something will happen and the people will start fighting about it at home…and then everyone else in the office/work area will be affected. And there are other things but you can use your imagination.
Teacher-student is ridiculous because of the probable age difference, & the power the older one can have over the young developing mind. To me is is sick & child abuse. The boss/employee is similar, power & the underling can be taken advantage of in most cases. Besides, if it doesn’t go well, how do you see the “breakup” in an office situation? Most are ugly & out of control, & could disrupt the whole office. My ex was fired from his 30 year job for messing with his secretary. It was the cause of our breakup besides!! Now, his secretary is supporting him & paying for his insurance & quite possibly his alimony & child support!
