Why are tanks made to move over wide caterpillar tracks rather than the wheels?
Catterpillar tracks are also a kind of Wheel (compound type) where several wheels work togather, and not a single wheel have to carry the total load, as the tanks are too heavy to carry, so it was so hard task to carry a even a simple tank on a two wheeled carrier in old days. Now days Tanks have become much complex and also weighty too.
