In this fast-moving society the broadsheet paper is like a cement block that weighs down mobile readers, Garcia said. “If you can’t get through all the stories in the broadsheet, you feel guilty,” he said. In addition, the broadsheet is unwieldy and impossible to read and turn the pages on the crowded subway. They do not have the eye-catching graphics or photographs of the tabloids but follow the conventional format of headline and text.
