Why are T$ and W$ worth less than cash?
Cash (or “real money” as PokerStars refers to it) is the most versatile type of money you can have on PokerStars. You can use cash to buy into any type of tournament, but you can also do three things with cash that you cannot do with T$ and W$: play cash games, cash out, and transfer cash to another account. Because of this, T$ and W$ are slightly less valuable than cash and therefore sell at a discount.
