Why are sometimes razor blade shaped wooden “plug” on the inside surfaces of the furniture?
The wood which timkid uses has two different surfaces, an outer side free of “plugs” or patches where branches would have formed knots, and an inner side generally the side which is not seen, which has some degree of knots from branches which have Been “plugged” or patched with these razor blade shaped inserts.
