Why are some words in the articles bold or in a different font in places where it doesn make sense?

A. Because we try to reduce file sizes for quicker download times, we use a program called “Capture” that greatly reduces file sizes but can’t always correctly “guess” what a word should be. We leave a scanned “bitmap” image of the word which is often darker than the surrounding words which have been converted to a Portable Document Format (PDF) text image.
