Why are some Sims facing appearing upside down?
There are a number of fixes for the upside down heads. If you have a saved user data, you can overwrite the corrupt Sim in the “character” folder in the user data. You can find out which Sims are corrupt if you have Sim Enhancer because the Sims with corrupt files will have a big X on them. If you don’t have Sim Enhancer, you can check your “character” folder in the user data and see how big the files are. The Sims should have files that are around 52 to 60 KB, with cats at 316 KB and dogs at 357 KB. It’s important to fix your upside down heads because the spread and often cause your game to start crashing. Although Maxis knows about this problem, they say that it’s too hard to fix with a patch and that you have to buy Superstar which fixes the upside down head problem. But if you do get Superstar, fix your upside down heads first because I have heard about corrupt Sims just disappearing when you install Superstar.
