Why are some schools going to experience more changes than others?
As part of the Building Schools for the 21st Century programme, we want to provide all young people with access to a modern and varied curriculum and facilities to enable them to gain the skills and qualifications that they need. We aim to provide access to successful schools that provide all young people with a wide range of courses, delivered in surroundings which inspire learning. Some schools require more to change in order to achieve this – for example, some buildings are in worse condition than others or may be less suitable for 21st century learning.
