Why are some programs no longer offered (Camp Toto, Leadership Programs) or not available on Connect2Rec (Citi Swim, etc)?
Some programs will not be available through Connect2Rec due to their complex registration procedures such as Citi-Swims. Similarly, Touch Tone Registration (TTR) does not allow City-Swim or any camp registrations that require deferred/scheduled payments. Camp Totoredaca Summer Day Camp has been discontinued and will no longer be offered by the City of Mississauga. Several factors over the past few years have resulted in decreased numbers of registrants – such as increased smog advisories, sun safety awareness and concerns about West Nile virus. Also, parents have indicated that they would like a combination of indoor and outdoor programs for their children, as well as more specialized programs. Leadership Programs have been temporarily discontinued as they are currently being revised. More information will be available in the next few months.
