Why are some players in the same school grade assigned to different divisions?
A. The league age date is determined by Little League International, and is the same for all Little League organizations worldwide. Since different school districts use different cutoff dates, there is no date that would work for all school districts. The result is that some children in the same grade may find themselves playing in different divisions, depending on their birth date.
