Why are some people so against homosexuality?
I understand why the Bible is anti gay. At the time it was written homosexuality was a crime and people would not have followed it if it went too far against their views. I know that although some say the Bible is against women at the time it was written it actually gave women more rights than what they had and society would not have digested the Bible if it had said women were equal but for the time it was written the Bible was a big step forward for women. We have to understand that it was written by people who may have been inspired by God for the benefit of Christians out there but thet were not actually God and it was written in times of conflict and may have been translated many times. When we see an origional script from the Bible Christians get very exited about it, but there are few origional scripts such as the dead sea scrolls.
