Why are some of the sequences and ortholog groups not annotated?

0

We display all the annotations directly available from the various ortholog group databases. However, some ortholog databases do not offer any annotation of their ortholog groups or individual genes. We try our best to incorporate as much information as possible from other sources, for example, individual genome databases and Genbank, etc.. However, when the annotation of a genome has not been publicly released or when a sequence has been out-dated, we leave the annotation blank.
