One of the first things I did when I heard about these 67 character domain names was call Network Solutions. They are the biggest domain registration company on the Internet so they will definitely be involved right? Wrong! When I called Network Solutions I found out 2 things • Yes you could register 67 character domain names and they are legitimate. • No they wont register anything over 27 characters because their ordering systems are not setup to handle anything bigger. Simple! Yes long domain names are real and the only reason Network Solutions is not taking registrations yet is because they have to upgrade there system! At this time of printing, Network Solutions ordering system is not capable of handling anything over 27 characters. Does this mean that 67 domain names are not valid? NO! It only means that Network solutions cannot take registrations. This is why we are recommend other companies… and to top it all off, these other companies are cheaper than Network Solutions! Just
