Why are some menus greyed out although I started Emperor™ in Master operational mode?

There is a bug in some versions of Emperor™ that when Emperor is first opened in Master mode some menus are still greyed out. To fix this problem either: a. Go to Setup-Access, click on the Operator radio button. Now click back onto the Master radio button and press OK to leave dialog box. b. Load in a library or result file. c. Run a program.
