Why are some flats and properties on red routes recycling using clear bags?
There are over 1000 properties in certain areas that are taking part in a recycling trial (flats above shops, houses on red routes and blocks of flats containing 13-24 properties). The trial area is limited because we need to test whether we have found the best method to collect the recycling from these properties. Once we are certain of the best method we will consider providing it to all properties of these types. We will contact you by letter if your property is included in the trial.
