Why are some field experiences split in half?
Each licensure area in the College is coordinated by a department of faculty who determine, in conjunction with minimum state licensure requirements, what experiences will serve the interns best as they earn their initial teaching license. In some cases, a license covers multiple age levels or subject areas, so it makes sense for the intern to experience as many as possible.
