Why are some Christians hostile to Spiritualism?
Sheer ignorance. Most Christians – and I do come from a Christian background myself -are sequacious and accept theology blindly without investigating, without trying to test anything for validity. They don’t criticise the teaching, the theology and allow themselves to be very easily led. Blind faith is dangerous. But there are many spiritualists who are Christians and others who embrace many aspects of Christianity. For those brave Christians who want to investigate, to know the truth about Christianity I strongly recommend Arthur Findlay’s The Rock of Truth, Kersey Graves’ The World’s Sixteen Crucified Saviours, Peter De Rosa’s Vicars of Christ, the Rev Robert Taylor’s The Diegesis.
