Why are some alternative splices only in the Table View but not in the Graphical View?

0

In order to make the Graphical View easy to use, we decided to build isoforms from our data rather than just showing which splices are alternative to each other. However as a result, we only show isoforms that seem more plausible. This is not to say that the other alternative splices are not plausible, but that our algorithms are not refined enough to build them into isoforms. In our Graphical View, we show isoforms that code for proteins that are at least 50 amino acids and have over 50% identity with the major form. It is important to note that all of our alternative splices are available in the Table View. As a result alternative splices that have not met our requirements will not be shown in the Graphical View.
