Why are sold out broadway tickets still available on other sites?

Because like for any sold out events, there are tickets available if you are willing to pay for them. Scalpers, ticket brokers, individual sellers where the person can’t or doesn’t want to go and in turn is trying to sell their tickets. I’ve used StubHub to purchase tickets to ‘sold out’ sporting events and they are a legit site. I believe most of their tickets are from individuals who use them as a broker instead of hassling with the sale themselves. Expect to pay a bit more (depending on how hot a ticket your event is). No, they’re prices never change….if anything you may miss out on a real bargain because note the less expensive tickets are usually the ones that go first! I suggest checking on ebay to see if there are tickets available for the play you want (it is definitely worth a shot), you might be bidding on them, but chances are the price may be a little more reasonable.
