Some of the general public are rude to anyone who deals with them on a daily basis. I worked in retail for years and they way you are spoken to by customers is appalling, even when you become a store manager your still treated by some as a servant. Everyone complains about staff attitudes, but if you heard what people say to you then there would be a lot more sympathy. You can be swore at, physically attacked, threatened with bottles, knives, baseball bats, i’ve had all this. I treat everyone with respect, if things are not right you can shout all you want but it’s probably not at the person who made the mistake.
