Top runners designated ‘Florida’s Finest’ at this weekend’s Walt Disney World Marathon earn free race entries, hotel rooms, meals and tickets to the Magic Kingdom. Most of the “Finest’ are from Tampa Bay. “We have a great training group here,” says Lee Stephens of Tampa. “When you run with fast runners, you can’t help but get faster. Everybody works harder.” Masters star Terri Reijimbal notes “we can train year-round. We don’t have any hills, but the humidity makes up for it. It always makes you faster when you run other places.” In Orlando for Disney Marathon weekend, a 5K is on Friday, the half-marathon in Saturday, and the full marathon is Sunday.
