There is a strong emphasis in the here and now and upon personal repsonsibility which contrasts rather sharply with the run-of-the-mill Christian denominations. Many Christians, I’ve found, feel no real, tactile, daily connection with what is often seen as a distant, and somewhat stern and frowning Father/God. By way of contrast, many Wiccans see evidence of a more tolerant Father/God and Mother/Goddess is the changing of the seasons, the cycles of the moon and even simply the cycles on sunrise and sunset.
