Why are so many Catholic Priests child abusing pedophiles?
I’m really sick of hearing this in the news, it’s disgusting! Are they pedophiles, child abusing pedophiles because of the Catholic religion? What kind of religion makes their leaders into child abusers? It’s not a statement so why would I “back-up” a question? I’m ASKING if it is the Catholic religion! A: In every population of human beings are going to a few sick or evil people who commit horrible crimes, even in the Church. The percentage of pedophiles in the clergy of the Catholic Church is actually less than that of society in general. These few terrible people do not negate the faith, hope and love of over one billion Catholics. Remember that the Church is neither the Church hierarchy nor the priests. The Church is God and His relationship with over one billion living Catholics on Earth and God only knows how many in heaven, all of whom make up the Body of Christ.
