Why are SGM moving to a tiered pricing structure?
We want to make the way we charge for our journals fairer. Rather than all customers paying the same amount, the price they pay will depend on a number of factors including the size of the organization. For some of our smallest customers, this will mean a reduction in the price they pay. Many customers tell us that they want their staff and students to be able to use SGM journals online from different geographical locations, without having to buy multiple subscriptions. Under the new, tiered model, we’ve made this much easier. We have introduced more flexible site licences, which will entitle most organizations with multiple sites within one or two cities access under one single licence. For example, a university with campuses in two different cities would now be able to purchase one of our Extended Basic Licences, rather than having to buy two separate subscriptions. Organizations wanting access in three or more cities can be accommodated with a Multi-Site Licence. Further information
