Why are sessions on Thursday-Saturday and Sunday-Tuesday?
Splitting the weekend into the two sessions in a week is better in the big picture. It spreads out the participants throughout the summer, providing for a better program. When weekends were full to the max, and weekdays were empty, the council paid for a staff in an empty camp, where they would lose their edge, and be unprepared to deliver the quality program on the weekends. For those who are forced to take two days out of work to be with their son at Cub World, for the quality time and what you get, dollar for dollar it is still a better value to other family vacations. Our staff is able to, and will continue to, be at their best and deliver to you an energetic, enthusiastic, top-notch program.
