Why are service contracts included with new shrink wrapping machinery?
A service contract is included with any new shrink wrapping equipment supplied by YPS and it is important to realise that this is in addition to a full parts and labour warranty. If you have a warranty issue, which while rare, can happen, then you would be covered with an immediate lighting fast response to rectify any issue. The service contract is included as our means of providing more peace of mind with regard to backup and support. No vendor will ever admit to bad backup and support in the form of delays for a service engineer because they haven’t employed enough or a delay in spare parts because they don’t hold the stock on their shelves. You only find out about bad service when it is too late and so we include a service contract free of charge with any equipment for the first year as our way of showing our commitment to ongoing backup and support.
