Why are Sensory-Motor activities done daily and reflex activities done only 2-3 times a week?
Sensory-motor issues are systemic and neurodevelopmental. The best way to approach them is by challenging them gently every day. Reflex integration is about wiring the cortex and the brain stem together through the motor system. As with weight lifting or other muscle work, the muscles need time to recover and adjust the entire motor system. It often takes up to 2 weeks to experience all the benefit from each visit.
