The editors of the USC classify provisions according to theUSC subject arrangement, renumbering (and in some cases rewording)them to fit into the USC framework. On one hand, the derivationnotes following USC sections tell from what public law sections theUSC provisions derive, and on the other, the tables described inanswer no. 11 below show where public law sections end up in theUSC.
