Why are Saab Instructors paid Avro rates?
Prior to LOA 40 the Saab program was going through instructors at a rapid rate. LOA 40 enabled the Company to entice the Saab instructors to stay in the program longer instead of bidding to the Avro, where they would make more money. It was necessary to offer this to the instructors so the quality of instruction would remain high. The concept has worked and more instructors stayed in the program, thus providing better instruction.
